Beijing China, Day 24 .... The following posts will have no pictures - lap top crashed

I woke up still tired from the long trip on foot yesterday. The heat in my room was getting unbearable. For the first time, I decided to do nothing but relax all day. I caught up on work in the morning then cooked my last Beijing meal!
I planned on stir frying peppers and carrots, but since the peppers I got turned out to be hot for the second time!?!, I replaced them with mangos. It came out awesome.
I even cleaned my room and called to report the air conditioner not working. I am not sure why I waited 25 days. I thought they don’t know how to fix it. They fixed it by the end of the day. It felt amazing to have cool air! And I slept like a baby that night.
After spending most of the day at home I decided to bring my laptop at Starbucks and write my blog there. It was too late in the day, so I only got chocolate croissant. BAD. Coffee BAD. Everything in Starbucks - BAD.
I was disappointed and got out for a walk around the complex to see who’s my neighbor. I am not sure why I didn’t do that on day 1. I saw a lot of studios, art and music, also dance studios and kids lessons in anything studios. I didn’t know there was so much happening in this neighborhood!
After my walk I went to Meizhou for dinner and got my usual - pork and shrimp dumplings with side of veggies. It was good, but it was also my 10th meal there and it should be my last.
I stopped by the movie theater and found a movie in English, but skipped and went home instead. Went to bed early in hopes I will get a good sleep and will feel rested enough to conquer the great wall.
