She holds a BS in Economics from Sofia University, an MBA with major Accounting from University of Massachusetts, Boston and a BFA with major Painting from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Elena worked as a tax accountant for several years before she made a decision to become an artist.

In September 2013 she made a difficult choice to end her accounting career and enrolled full time at Massachusetts College of Art and Design to study Painting. She graduated with honors in May 2017 with a BFA, Painting.

Elena is an independent artist and also runs a small entertainment business offering private paint parties and classes to adults and kids.

Elena works with oils, acrylics and watercolor. Her main interest is in exploring how the environment influences our daily lives; how each of us establishes a different connection with our surroundings. She investigates the spaces and realities that exist within this connection.
